History & experience
CARIBB’EVENTS was launched in 2011 by Marion VAGLIO and Gwen GROSSET as specialists of events organization such as conventions, seminars, congresses, incentive & group programs. We also offer our experience for yoga and eco-retreats.
The company is based in Tulum, Quintana Roo, Mexico and provides its services in all the Yucatan Peninsula with knowledge, expertise and creativity. Moreover, with more than 3 years of experience, we propose you the best suppliers in the Riviera Maya to ensure success developing your event.
Caribb’events supports eco-tourism by working with environmental and local providers. We always look for eco-friendly solutions and we are aware of our responsibility to our country and our environmental impact on the areas in which we operate.
Our Team
Marion Vaglio is responsible of our Incentive Group Travel Department.
She has a Master in Business Administration. Since her 20’s, she’s specialized in Communication and Hospitality.
She is from Aix-en-Provence, France. She has worked in Dublin in the most reputed hotel in the city, in Paris for Cartier in International Public Relations, organized the 1st film festival in Marrakech, the contemporary Art Festival in Toulouse, French film festival in Mexico and lots of events as the responsible of a French newspaper in Mexico City.
For 3 years, she has been specialized in wine business as import/export manager and Sommelier. She moved to Tulum in 2009, join Gwen as a Wedding Planner and together decided to create www.caribbevents.com for group travels, seminars and incentive programs.
Gwen Grosset is responsible of our Weddings and Private Events Department.
She’s been raised in France between Bordeaux and Marseille, between good food and great wines! Industrial engineer from Polytech’ Marseille she uses to manage different projects at an EADS company using her communication and organization talents. Her love for sailing sends her here, in the Caribbean Sea in 2005.
She began to work in grand scale hotels at the Group & Wedding Department for 2 years until she created in 2008 Destination Weddings Tulum to offer her clients a more personalized service for their destination weddings and all her contacts in the Riviera Maya.
